About

Learn to confidently understand NDIS supports and how disability support workers contribute to safe, person-centred outcomes. This course is designed for people seeking SDA housing support pathways and employment or work placement in aged care and disability services, including those working alongside Peers Healthcare Providers Pty Ltd. You’ll explore core NDIS principles, how plans translate into practical daily support, how roles connect with provider responsibilities, and how to communicate, document, and collaborate effectively with participants, families, and stakeholders. By the end, you’ll be able to identify suitable supports, explain support worker role expectations, recognise boundaries and escalation routes, and apply key workplace practices that improve safety and participant choice and control.
